Why Every Member Is Individually Approved in Our Community
Joining BDSM Family is intentionally challenging: A real moderator reviews each application. We clearly explained how this process works and why it's important.
On many sites, signing up takes just a few seconds. With us, it takes a bit longer, and this is a deliberate choice. Easy sign-up means easy fake accounts. To ensure a community is safe, we must be sure that its members are real, adult, and respectful of the rules.
How does the application process work?
- Application: You apply with a username and email, read and accept the community rules.
- Live verification: You record a short video performing randomly selected actions on camera. If you choose photo verification, an ID photo is also required.
- Human review: A moderator from our team reviews your application. There is no automatic approval.
- Approval: Once approved, you receive your verified badge; rooms, messages, and media are unlocked.
What happens until you're approved?
While your application is under review, you cannot access the community; your profile is invisible to other members, and you cannot receive messages. During this time, you can log in, complete verification, change your settings, download your data, or delete your account.
Verification images are only seen by moderators and are deleted after a decision is made.
Why are we so meticulous?
- No fake profiles: Every account is backed by a verified real adult.
- No bot or AI accounts: Automated accounts cannot pass human approval.
- No minors allowed: Age verification is fundamental to the community.
- Privacy: Your real name is not required, and your location is not visible beyond your city.
Invitations
If you applied with an invitation code or through an invitation from a community member, your application is moved to the front of the moderator queue. You still go through the same verification; the invitation only shortens the waiting time.
What if my application is rejected?
If a moderator rejects an application, you'll see the reason and can attempt verification again. Most of the time, the issue is something simple like a blurry image or a missing action.
If you're ready, you can start your application here. Our full rules are on the Community Guidelines page.
